A 40-hour comprehensive "hands-on" application of development and enhancement techniques for physical evidence. A variety of methods will be explored. Students will experiment with various types of equipment and chemicals to determine the most effective application to a given situation. This program offers a minimum of lecture and a maximum of team activity including field exercises as simulated crime scenes. Students will gain a wealth of knowledge and experience that can be practiced immediately. Although the Crime Scene Technology I Workshop is not a prerequisite, students should have a substantial background in crime scene application prior to enrolling in this course.

40 Hour Program / Workshop
