A shipping charge rate scale accompanies the Doje's order form included in our catalog. This scale is based on current freight rates and is normally used to calculate standard packages. However, it is important to understand that some materials may require additional freight charges due to overweight, oversize, D.O.T. surcharges for hazardous freight, etc. These charges will be clearly identified on the invoice or by required freight placards. If a question arises regarding shipping costs, please contact our office for a shipping estimate.
D.O.T. requires that a hazardous material surcharge be assessed for each package shipped that contains hazardous material. This cost is currently $20.00 per package plus normal freight charge.**
Packages weighing over 30 pounds often require a greater freight charge through common carriers. If shipping charges require pre-calculation, the following guidelines may be used (not including Hazardous Surcharges): If your order is...
